FELDSPARS

Euritech line:

Eurite is a fine-grained intrusive rock composed of potassium feldspar crystals (orthoclae variety) in a microcrystalline matrix consisting chiefly of quartz, potassium feldspar and plagioclase. The widespread hydrothermal alteration led to the conversion of the matrix into clay minerals.

The high percentage of potassium feldspar and of clayey phase (Micaceous clay) are basic properties of Eurite.
Eurite is widely used in ceramic mixtures for the production of floor and wall tiles.
A reduced dimensional of the finished product as well as the high grindability and plasticity of the mixture are properties resulting from using Eurite in the ceramic body.
