Claytech line: Rhyolites altered to kaolin.

This product family includes rhyolites variously altered to kaolin. Kaolinite is the prevailing clay mineral, mingled with quartz, potassium feldspar (i.e.sanidine) and volcanic glass.

The definition of mine areas according to different mineralogical and chemical characteristics allows to formulate a wide range of products according to the batch and type of clay minerals

Claytech products, either pure or mixed with local bentonite, are mainly used in the ceramics industry to maximize the plasticity and grindability of the mixture.
