Innovation and Sustainability for Industry

The ARTÙ research project, led by Eurit S.r.l., focuses on development an advanced manufacturing process for the recovery of strategic elements such as lithium and rare earths from inert materials, including by-products and waste generated by the mining and ceramics industries.

The project has two main objectives:

1. Improve the quality of raw materials for the ceramics industry, increasing their value.

2. Recover critical elements from what are currently considered waste products, such as by-products from ceramic colouring factories.

Towards a Circular Economy

ARTÙ represents a model of circular economy, transforming waste into valuable resources. The project is based on an innovative chemical-physical separation technology which, by combining different techniques (magnetic, gravimetric, etc.), allows valuable elements to be extracted and concentrated.

This sustainable approach not only reduces environmental impact but also contributes to creating a new production chain that makes European mining sites more autonomous and competitive. In this way, the ARTÙ project aims for a future in which waste becomes a new source of wealth.
